The Digital Antiquarian tells the history of computers and specifically computer gaming. It’s an amazing resource, and most of the articles are downloadable in .epub format for more comfortable viewing.
I’ve never read a bad piece by Maher, and this recent one (the first in a series) on The End of Sierra As We Knew It is especially good, speckled as it is with tales of brilliance, dastardliness and folly.
